I am a Filipino-American artist who was born and raised in a small town in Northern Indiana, five minutes from the Michigan border. I was pretty loud and excited as a kid, so the only option was to put me in ballet class. Little did my mom know, I loved ballet so much that I got even louder and more excited. I continued training in classical ballet, later adding modern, jazz, and pointe classes to my weekly schedule. I joined my studio’s pre-professional company and studied at summer intensives with companies like Ballet Chicago and Cincinnati Ballet. Outside of the studio, you could also find me singing in my school’s church choir or the backseat of my mom’s car. It wasn’t until high school where I finally combined these two passions through show choir and musical theatre! Countless hours of singing and dancing led me to earn my BFA in Drama at NYU Tisch’s New Studio on Broadway, where I also double minored in Producing and Business of Entertainment, Media & Technologies

(all in 3 years ☺︎). 

 

   Whether I am kicking my face or belting in yours, I strive to create art that celebrates my Filipino heritage and centers authenticity and empathy. My goal as an artist is to always stay true to myself and the stories I tell. I hope to cultivate a career and a community where I can collaborate with other like-minded artists to spread joy and understanding through art. There is no greater joy in my life than the opportunity to play through song and dance, and to just be human on a stage with other humans. How cool is that! 

 

   The stage has been and always will be my happy place. Though I have grown a great interest in the world of producing! I have produced two 54 Below shows and one Green Room 42 cabaret so far, with my first show, 54 Sings in Perfect Harmony, being sold out. I hope to continue exploring this industry as a producer and use those skills to one day work in community outreach and educational theatre programs alongside my performance career. 

 

   Outside of all things musical theatre- you can probably find me at a pilates class, eating any NYC chocolate chip cookie (probably Funny Face Bakery), obsessing over my dog Toby, or watching Dancing with the Stars religiously!
